Matt Aldous
Matthew first got into radio in 1996 when he joined Winchester Hospital Radio. For two years he was Programme Controller and managed to create a lot of new programmes of specialist interest for the patients.
A few years ago he presented the weekend breakfast show for Win FM, also worked on the production side of a sports show there too, mainly recording and editing commentaries and results. Matthew knows nothing about sport!
During the day Matthew works as a self employed TV & Audio Installer / Engineer, spending 4 years training in the TV trade at Southampton Tech College.
Matthew's main interest is music and has a very wide taste. He collects music, which can get costly, but you can never have too much, he says. Other interests include - vintage buses, radio (of course) and the lighting and sound side of the Theatre. For over 15 years, Matthew has been a member of a drama group in Kingsworthy working backstage in that area.
Born in 1972, he grew up in Winchester and moved to Romsey in 2001 where he lives with his partner Frances.
Matthew joined Skyline two weeks after it launched and broadcasts on Saturday nights between 7 - 10pm.
Among other features, he has the Golden Hour - mystery year with a chance for you to take part and win a prize, you can also boogie on down to the Disco and Dance era of the 70's and 80's.
